Everyone wants a fairy-tale ending.
Everyone wants her prince to charge out of the forest on his white stallion and slay the dragons of her past.
Everyone wants him to enfold her in his arms and say It's okay, you're safe now, nothing will ever harm you again.
She buried her fairy-tales a long time ago.
She's seen no princes riding white stallions, only street kids riding skateboards. She drives off her own dragons, but somehow they keep coming back.
They all would hold her, but none will promise that nothing will ever wrong her again.
